Logic semiconductor devices include advanced integrated circuits (ics), software design tools, predefined system functions delivered as intellectual property (ip) cores, design services, customer training, field engineering and technical support. The group's programmable logic ics include field programmable gate arrays (fpgas) and complex programmable logic devices (cplds). The products provide high integration for electronic equipment manufacturers in the telecommunications, networking, computing, industrial and consumer markets. The group operates in the United States, the United Kingdom, Japan, France, Germany, Ireland Netherlands, cayman islands, Sweden, Belgium and Canada. The group acuired triscend corporation in fiscal 2004 and hier design in fiscal 2005.
