The group operates in four segments: respiratory technologies, critical care, neurocare and medical and surgical products. It markets its products in over 100 countries. The group's customers include hospitals, alternate care sites, clinical laboratories, private physicians and original equipment manufacturers. On 03-Apr-2003, the group disposed its medical data electronics business and on 03-Oct-2003, disposed its thermedics polymer business.
