The group's principal activities are conducted through three groups namely utility group, nonregulated group and corporate and other group. The utility group is comprised of the gas utility services, electric utility services and other operations that provide information technology and other support services to the regulated operations. The nonregulated group consists of energy marketing and services, coal mining, utility infrastructure services and broadband communications. The corporate and other group consists of unallocated corporate expenses such as branding and charitable contributions, among other activities, that benefit the group's other operating segments. The group operates solely in the domestic market.
