The group's saphion(tm) technology, a lithium-ion technology which utilizes a phosphate-based cathode addresses the weaknesses of existing oxide based lithium-ion alternatives offering a solution that is competitive in cost and performance. Saphion technology will offer solutions in the form of safer, environmentally friendly, lower-cost, higher performance energy products and caters a variety of products in markets including consumer electronics, appliances, toys, vehicles, uninterrupted power supply systems and other industrial applications.
