The group's principal activities are to manufacture and market semi-finished and finished steel products. The group operates through five segments: stainless steel, tool steel, high-strength low alloy steel, high-temperature alloy steel and conversion services. Stainless steel is used in the automotive, aerospace and power generation industries. Tool steel is used in the manufacturing of metals, plastics, paper and aluminum extrusions, pharmaceuticals, electronics and optics. Alloy steel is used in the aerospace industry. The customers of the group are rerollers, forgers, service centers and original equipment manufacturers, which primarily include the power generation and aerospace industries.
