The group's principal activities are to conduct the research, product development, manufacturing and marketing of cosmetic ingredients, personal and health care products, pharmaceuticals and specialty industrial products. The group also distributes a line of over 3,000 fine organic chemicals, research chemicals, test solutions, indicators, dyes and reagents. The operations are carried out through two subsidiaries: guardian laboratories division and eastern chemical corporation. The products include lubrajel(R), renacidin(R), clorpactin(R) and klensoft(tm). The customers of the group include drug wholesalers, drug stores, surgical supply houses, hospitals, physicians and other manufacturers. The products are sold in the United States, Canada, Europe, Asia, South America and Central America.
