The group's principal activity is to design, develop, manufacture and sell sophisticated lifting equipment for specialty aerospace and defense applications. The products of the group include performance-critical rescue hoists, cargo-hook systems, weapons-handling systems, cargo winches, tie-down equipment and tow-hook assemblies. Its products are sold primarily to military and civilian agencies and aerospace contractors. The group supplies equipment for the United States, Japanese and European multiple-launch rocket systems which use two specialized hoists to load and unload rocket pod containers.
