The group's principal activities are to develop, design, manufacture and market products for the surgical and interventional treatment of disease. The group operates through two segments, the surgical device business and the interventional business. The surgical device business develops, manufactures and markets implantable biomaterial products, devices for microsurgery and surgical tools that reduce risks of critical surgeries, leading to better patient outcomes and lower costs. The interventional business manufactures fixation helices, conductor coils, stylets and other machined components used for cardiac rhythm management, neurostimulation and vascular procedures. It also provides product development engineering and rapid prototyping services. The group operates in the United States, Europe, Asia and pacific region.
