These products optimize bandwidth utilization and quality of service of wireline, wireless and broadband communications networks enabling customers to increase the efficiency of their networks in today's evolving communications environment. The group also supplies consumer and business broadband access solutions to global network service providers. The major customers of the group are verizon and acterna worldwide. On 04-Oct-2002, the group acquired truetime, inc and on 29-Oct-2002, datum inc. In Jun 2003, the group discontinued the operation of the trusted time division which was acquired as part of the acquisition of datum inc.
