Orthopaedic implants segment sells orthopaedic reconstructive, trauma and spinal implants and bone cement. Medsurg equipment segment sells powered surgical instruments, endoscopic systems, medical video imaging equipment, craniomaxillofacial implants, image-guided surgical systems, hospital beds and stretchers. The group also provides physical, occupational and speech therapy services, through a network of 374 outpatient physical therapy centers in 25 states and the district of columbia. The group has operations in the United States, Europe, Japan and other foreign countries. On 12-Aug-2004, the group acquired spinecore, inc.
