The group's principal activity is to design, manufacture and market advanced wireless solutions for worldwide telephone network interconnection and broadband wireless access. The digital wireless systems carry high-speed data and voice across a full spectrum of frequencies and capacities. The operations are carried under two segments: the wireless solutions product segment designs, develops, manufactures and markets digital microwave systems for digital transmission. The services segment undertakes installation, repair and network design, path surveys, integration and other services. The group has customers in Mexico, Colombia, Argentina, Brazil, the United Kingdom, France, Poland, Germany, Greece, South Africa, the united arab emirates, India, Singapore, the People's Republic of China and Malaysia. During oct 2003, the group acquired plessey broadband wireless, a division of tellumat (pty) ltd.
