The group's principal activities are to acquire and develop utility and non-utility lines of business. The group provides a variety of energy related products and services through its wholly owned subsidiaries. It acquires and markets natural gas and electricity to retail end users and provides total energy management services to commercial and industrial customers. The group markets wholesale natural gas storage, commodity and transportation in the mid-Atlantic and southern states. It also develops and plans to operate energy-related projects in southern New Jersey. The subsidiary service territory includes 112 municipalities throughout Atlantic, Cape May and Salem Counties and portions of Burlington, Camden and Gloucester Counties. The subsidiary serves 288,008 residential, commercial and industrial customers.
