The group's principal activities are to own and operate hotels in Boston, Massachusetts, key biscayne, Florida, new orleans and Louisiana. The group operates in two segments: owned and leased hotels and management activities. The owned and leased hotels segment includes revenues from room, food and beverage, parking and telephone receipts from hotel guests. The management activities segment includes the operations of hotels and resorts under management agreements, and fees from hotels to which the group has granted licenses. The group has entered into master franchise agreements for Brazil, Peru and Italy, and currently licenses six hotels in Peru, and four hotels, including a 10th century castle, in Italy.
