The group's principal activity is to provide discount brokerage services to customers, investment banking services to institutional clients and trading securities. The group operates through its wholly owned subsidiary, muriel siebert & co., inc. The group acts as senior manager, co-manager or otherwise participating in the underwriting or sales syndicates of municipal, corporate debt and equity, government agency and mortgage/asset backed securities issues. The group currently maintains seven retail discount brokerage offices in the United States.
