The group's principal activities are to manufacture, design and distribute analog and mixed-signal semiconductors for commercial applications. The products are principally sold to customers in the communications, computer and industrial markets. The group's semiconductor industry is divided into analog and digital semiconductor products. Analog semiconductors condition and regulate functions such as temperature, speed, sound and electrical current. Digital semiconductors process binary information, such as that used by computers. Mixed-signal devices incorporate both analog and digital functions into a single chip and enable digital electronics to interface with the outside world. The customers of the group are original equipment manufacturers and their suppliers, including agilent, cisco, compal electronics, dell, hewlett packard, IBM, intel, lucky goldstar, microsoft, motorola, quanta com. The group has its operations in the United States, Asia-Pacific & Europe.
