The group's principal activities are to provide offshore marine services and environmental services. The offshore marine services segment charters vessels to owners and operators of offshore drilling rigs and production platforms, both domestically and internationally. The vessels deliver cargo and personnel to offshore installations, handle anchors for drilling rigs and other marine equipment, support offshore construction and maintenance work and provide standby safety support. The environmental service business provides contractual oil spill response and other professional services to those who store, transport, produce or handle petroleum and certain non-petroleum oils. The group has operations in the United States, gulf of Mexico, offshore west Africa, the north sea, the Far East, Latin America and mediterranean.
