The group's principal activity is to design, develop and manufacture innovative digital radiographic imaging systems and devices for the dental and medical markets. The dental devices include the cdr(R), computed dental radiography, imaging system that uses an intra-oral sensor to produce instant, full size, high-resolution dental X-ray images on a color computer monitor. The group also manufactures and sells the cdrcam(R) 2000, an intra-oral camera that fully integrates with the cdr system and the cdrpan(tm), a digital panoramic imaging device. The group manufactures and markets the accudexa(R) bone densitometer, a low-cost and easy-to-operate device for the assessment of bone mineral density and fracture risk. The products are based primarily on its proprietary active-pixel sensor (aps) imaging technology. The products are marketed primarily in the United States and Europe.
