The group's principal activity is to provide property and casualty reinsurance risks and broker-based and direct-writing distribution capabilities. The group also provides marine and aerospace reinsurance products and services. The group operates in four property and casualty segments. Casualty segment consists of north American general liability, commercial and personal auto liability, risk excess and other liability coverage. Catastrophe and risk excess segment consists principally of property catastrophe excess of loss, property retrocession and property risk excess. Structured/finite business segment combines the elements of risk transfer and management of certain risks of the clients.
