The company also supplies electric power at wholesale to other utility companies, municipalities, rural electric cooperatives and other market participants. It provide services to natural gas and oil production, oil refining, steel processing, aircraft maintenance, paper manufacturing, timber products, glass, chemicals, cement, plastics, aerospace manufacturing, telecommunications and rubber goods manufacturing industries. The company is a wholly owned subsidiary of American electric power company inc.
