The group's principal activities are the provision of specialized information to targeted markets, which is classified into three business segments: consumer magazines, business-to-business magazines and non-core businesses. The consumer magazines segment, which is concentrated primarily on specialty consumer magazines. Business-to-business magazines is the information segment, which produces consumer and business information products in a variety of formats for decision makers in business, professional and special interest consumer markets. The information is compiled and sold through guides, newsletters, CD-roms, directories and via the Internet. Non-core businesses segment, which specializes in providing educational materials to the classroom learning and workplace learning markets.
