The group's principal activity is to design, develop, manufacture and market a broad range of telecommunications equipment and integrated software applications. The group operates in three segments: line connection and protection equipment, operating support systems and signal processing equipment. The line connection and protection equipment is used to connect copper-wired telecommunications networks and protect equipment from voltage surges. The operating support systems primarily focus on trouble management, line testing, network provisioning and other service delivery initiatives. The signal processing equipment is primarily used in defense and aerospace applications. The group's products are sold in Asia, south and Central America and Europe.
