The group's principal activities are the production and marketing of thermoplastic compounds, specialty resins, specialty polymer formulations, engineered films, color and additive systems, elastomer compounds and additives and thermoplastic resin. The group operates under following segments namely, performance plasticsand distribution. Performance plastics segment produces compound plastics to the specifications of manufacturers of plastic products. The group's sales are principally to customers in the United States, Europe, Canada and Asia-Pacific. In Dec 2003, the group discontinued polyone's elastomers & performance additives, specialty resins and engineered films businesses.
