The group's principal activities are to develop, manufacture, market and service video, voice, data and Web conferencing collaboration solutions. The group operates in two segments: communications and network systems. Communication segment includes videoconferencing collaboration products that facilitates video communications; desktop, conference, analog, digital and ip voice communications products. Network systems segment provides network infrastructure to facilitate video, voice and data conferencing and collaboration capabilities. The customer base of the group includes government, businesses, telecommunications service providers, and educational institutions. These sales are made through network of channel partners, which includes communications service providers, value-added resellers, distributors and retailers. In 2003, the group discontinued and sold the network access segment. On 05-Jan-2004, the group acquired voyant technologies inc.
