Its solution are designed to collect data, analyze product quality and identify and repair product defects at critical steps in the flat panel display manufacturing process. It also offers yield management solutions for the printed circuit board assembly, advanced semiconductor packaging industry and the cathode ray tube display and high quality glass industries. The optical and X-ray inspection systems are used to detect and identify defects on printed circuit board assemblies with advanced semiconductor packages mounted on the surfaces of these assemblies. The optical inspection systems use high-resolution cameras and proprietary software to locate and characterize defects in cathode ray tube displays and automotive glass panels. On 21-Jul-2004, the group acquired assets from quantum composers.
