The group's principal activities are to provide helicopter transportation services in the gulf of Mexico. It transports personnel and parts and equipment for the customers engaged in the oil and gas exploration, development and production industry. The group operates through the following segments: domestic oil and gas, air medical, international and technical services. The domestic and gas segment operates approximately 164 owed, leased and customer-owned aircraft related to its domestic oil and gas operations from several bases or helicopters. Air medical segment provides air medical transportation services for hospitals and medical programs. International segment provides helicopter services in angola, antarctica and the democratic republic of congo. The technical services segment performs maintenance and repair services of the lafayette facility pursuant to an faa repair station license, primarily for the existing customers.
