Business Information
The group's principal activity is to develop, produce and market natural gas and oil. The activities also include drilling and development activities, acquisition of natural gas and oil producing wells and the expansion of natural gas marketing activities. The group operates under three segments namely natural gas sales, drilling and development and well operations. It drills natural gas wells for company sponsored drilling partnerships and retains an interest in each well. The group also engages in oil and gas sales to commercial and industrial end-users. As of 31-Dec-2003, the group operates approximately 2,500 wells located in the appalachian basin, Michigan, and the rocky mountain region, with gross proved reserves of 468 billion cubic feet equivalent of natural gas.
