The group's principal activity is that of a bank holding company. Its principal subsidiary, peapack-gladstone bank, is a state-chartered commercial bank of New Jersey. The group provides personalized financial, trust and investment services to individuals and small businesses. It offers them working capital lines of credit; term loans for fixed asset acquisitions, commercial mortgages and other forms of asset-based financing. Depository activities consist of savings, money market and interest bearing checking accounts and certificates of deposits. Consumer banking includes the provision of residential and construction mortgages, home equity lines of credit and other second mortgage loans. In addition, the group provides travelers' checks, money orders, cashier's checks, wire transfers and automated teller machines. The operations are conducted through sixteen full-service banking offices and one mini-branch in somerset, hunterdon and morris counties.
