The group's principal activities are to accept deposits from individual and corporate customers and lend a wide range of loans. The deposits offered by the group include checking accounts, christmas club accounts, money market accounts, statement and passbook savings accounts, individual retirement accounts and certificates of deposit. The loan portfolio of the group contains small business loans, construction loans, commercial real estate loans, home equity and other consumer loans and equipment leases. The group also invests in mortgage-backed securities and other securities issued or guaranteed by the us government. The group operates through three full service offices located in dundalk, parkville and carney Maryland and serving eastern baltimore county. On 01-Apr-2004, the group acquired parkville federal savings bank.
