The group's principal activities are carried out through five segments: electric, plastics, manufacturing, health services and other business operations. Electric segment includes the production, transmission, distribution and sale of electric energy. Plastics: consist of the production of polyvinyl chloride pipe. Manufacturing consists of businesses involved in the production of waterfront equipment, wind towers, frame-straightening equipment, accessories for the auto repair industry, custom plastic pallets, handling trays and horticultural containers; fabrication of steel products; contract machining and metal parts stamping and fabrication. Health services consist of the sale of diagnostic medical equipment, supplies and accessories. Other business operations includes electrical and telephone construction contracting, transportation, telecommunications, entertainment and energy services and natural gas marketing. On 01-Nov-2003, the group acquired foley company.
