The group's principal activities are to develop, manufacture and market decorative and functional surfaces, emulsion polymers and specialty chemicals. The group operates in two segments namely decorative and building products and performance chemicals. The decorative and building product segment manufactures and sells functional surfacing products such as wallcoverings, coated and performance fabrics, industrial films, transfer printed products and commercial roofing systems. The products are used in building remodeling, new construction, furniture, cabinets, flooring and home furnishings. The performance chemicals segment produces a range of emulsion polymers and specialty chemicals. These are used in paper, carpet, textiles, construction, floor care, tires and other chemical applications.
