The group's principal activities are to manufacture and distribute plastics processing equipment and supplies. It also blends and distributes industrial fluids for metalworking applications. The group operates in four segments: machinery technologies - North America; machinery technologies - Europe; mold technologies and industrial fluids. The first three segments provide plastics processors with technologically advanced products and services, machinery, tooling, parts and applications expertise required for plastic processing techniques. The fourth segment supplies industrial fluids, whose formulations meet many stringent performances, health and safety requirements of metalworking applications. The group has operations in the United States, Italy, Netherlands, Canada, Mexico, Germany, western Europe and Asia. In 2003, the group sold its round metalcutting tools business.
