The group's principal activity is to supply process industry machinery and systems. It operates in four segments: paper, minerals, automaton and ventures. The paper segment provides paper machines, tissue machines, board machines, paper finishing systems, equipment and machinery for mechanical and chemical pulp production, know-how and aftermarket services. The minerals segment provides equipment and solutions for crushing, grinding, screening and transport of rock and minerals. The automation segment provides automation and field systems applications for the pulp, paper, power and process industries. The ventures segment provides machines and equipment for the manufacture of panelboard, solutions for mechanical power transmission, materials technologies and contract manufacture of specialty cars. The group operates in nordic countries, north and South America, Asia-Pacific and other countries.
