The group's principal activity is to manufacture and market memorialization products and caskets for the cemetery and funeral home industries. It operates in five segments: bronze, graphics imaging, marking products, york casket and cremation. The bronze segment manufactures cast bronze memorials and other memorialization products. The graphics imaging segment manufactures and provides printing plates, pre-press and imaging services for corrugated and packaging industries. The marking products segment manufactures marking equipment and consumables to identify consumer and industrial products, components and packaging containers. The york casket segment produces two types of caskets: metal and wood. The cremation segment manufactures cremation equipment and cremation caskets. The group operates in Germany, Austria, Denmark, hungary, Brussels and Switzerland. The group cloverleaf group in fiscal 2004. On 30-Aug-2004, it acquired the intouch group plc.
