The group operates through two segments: campus based higher education institution segment owns and maintains controlling interests in nine separately accredited higher education institutions. The online higher education segment provides career-oriented degree programs to working-adult students through canter and associates, walden e-learning, inc. And national technological university, inc. On 30-Jun-2003, the group sold the operations of its k-12 segment. On 16-Sep-2004 the group acquired remaining 49% interest in walden university.
