The group's principal activity is to provide Internet performance services that enable companies to benchmark, test, manage, and improve their e-business Web sites. The Web performance benchmarking and application performance measurement services rendered by the group enable the customers to measure and improve their e-business quality services from multiple points on the Internet. The customers of the group include American express, at&t wireless, cable & wireless, hewlett-packard, IBM, intermedia communications/digex, microsoft, overture services, sbc communications and sprint. As of 30-Sep-2003, the group had 1,750 measurement computers deployed in 50 cities and in over 120 locations. On 06-Apr-2004, the group acquired netraker. On 16-Sep-2004, the group, acquired vividence corporation.
