The group's principal activities are to discover, develop, manufacture and market companion animal health products and delivery of diagnostic services to veterinarians. The group operates in two segments namely companion animal health and animal health segment. The companion animal health segment sells pharmaceuticals, vaccine and diagnostic products, veterinary diagnostic and patient monitoring instruments, offers diagnostic services and performs a variety of research and development activities. The animal health segment manufactures food animal vaccine and pharmaceutical products that are marketed and distributed by third parties. The group manufactures and markets its products in two major geographic areas, North America and Europe.
