The group's principal activities are to explore, develop and produce oil and gas both domestically and internationally through its various subsidiaries. Operations of the group are divided into two segments, north American operating segment and middle American operating segment. North American operating segment consists of exploration, development, production and acquisition efforts in the United States. Middle American operating segment currently consists of exploration, development, production and acquisition efforts in Colombia, Costa Rica, Peru and panama as well as potential future operations elsewhere in Central America and South America. The group also has oil and gas properties located in the western and panhandle regions of Texas.
