The group's principal activity is to own and operate orthotic and prosthetic patient-care centers in the United States. The group operates under two segments: patient-care centers and distribution. The patient-care centers segment consists of the o&p patient-care centers, fabrication centers of o&p components and opnet. The patient-care centers provide services to design and fit o&p devices to patients. It designs, fabricates and maintains braces and other devices that provide external support to patients. It also designs, fabricates and maintains artificial limbs for patients who are without limbs. The distribution segment distributes purchased o&p products and components to both the o&p industry and the group's own patient-care practices.
