Business Information
The group's principal activities are to provide basic construction materials. The group has three business segments: construction aggregates, concrete products and cement and calcium products. The construction aggregates segment is engaged in the mining, processing, distribution and sale of sand, gravel and crushed stone. The concrete products segment produces and sells ready mix concrete, concrete block, prestressed concrete and other building materials. The cement and calcium products segment is in the sale of portland and masonry cement, calcium products and importation of cement and slag. Substantially all operations are conducted in Florida, Virginia, Georgia, Maryland, Washington dc, Tennessee, North Carolina and Delaware. The group also has operations in new brunswick, Canada.
