The group's principle activity is to develop technologies to enhance aviation safety and reduce airport delays. The group is engaged in the development of two proprietary sensor technologies: socrates and unicorn. Socrates is designed to detect clear air turbulence, microbursts, and aircraft generated vortices, which result in hazardous conditions to safe air travel. Unicorn is a technology that is being designed based upon an arrangement of radar which gives both visual and audible warning indication of approaching aircraft to pilots. Since the group generated no additional revenues from providing staffing and production services, it discontinued these activities.
