The group's principal activity is to provide general, commercial and retail banking business through the first national bank of south Mississippi and the first national bank of the pine belt. The deposit services offered by the group include checking accounts, now accounts, savings accounts and other time deposits. Commercial loans include both secured and unsecured loans for working capital loans secured by inventory and accounts, business expansion and purchase of equipment and machinery. Consumer loans include equity lines of credit and secured and unsecured loans for financing automobiles, home improvements, education, and personal investments. The banks also make real estate construction and acquisition loans. In addition, the group offers certain retirement account services, such as individual retirement accounts.
