The activities of the group are carried out through five segments: U.S. Reinsurance: underwrites property and casualty reinsurance through brokers and directly with ceding companies. The U.S. Reinsurance segment underwrites property and casualty reinsurance through brokers and directly with ceding companies. The specialty underwriting division underwrites accident, health, marine, aviation and surety business through brokers and directly with ceding companies. The international division underwrites property and casualty reinsurance through the group's branches in london, Canada and Singapore. The Bermuda segment underwrites property, casualty, life and annuity business through brokers and directly with ceding companies.
