The group's principal activities are to provide products and technologies that are designed to treat advanced cardiovascular disease. The product lines are grouped into four areas: cardiac surgery, critical care, vascular and perfusion. The cardiac surgery product line manufactures cannulae and cardioplegia products used during open-heart surgery. Critical care products include hemodynamic monitoring systems used to measure patient's heart function. Vascular products include a line of angioscopy equipment and artificial implantable grafts used to treat life threatening abdominal aortic aneurysms. The perfusion products consist of a diverse line of disposable and hardware products used during cardiopulmonary bypass surgical procedures.
