The group's principal activities are to explore, develop and produce oil and natural gas. The operations are conducted primarily along the onshore United States, gulf coast with its primary emphasis in south Texas and south central Louisiana where it controls interests in excess of 208,926 gross acres under lease or option. The group has seismic and production data and operations in over 20 specific project areas. Its exploration activities based on an integrated geologic interpretation method incorporating 3-D seismic technology and advanced visualization and data analysis techniques utilizing state-of-the-art computer hardware and software.
