Business Information
The group's principal activities are carried out through three segments; security products, industrial hardware and metal products. The security products division manufactures and markets electronic and mechanical locking devices, including keyed and keyless devices, for the computers, electronics and vending and gaming industries. The industrial hardware division produces latching devices for industrial equipment, instruments and vehicular type equipment. The products include latches, hinges, handles, fasteners and other closing devices. The metal products division produces anchoring devices used in supporting the roofs of underground coal mines. This segment also manufactures specialty products, which serve the construction, automotive and electrical industries. The group has operations in Canada, Hong Kong and Mexico.
