The group's principal activities are to manufacture wireless communication products and systems and information security products. It also designs, develops, manufactures and markets: stationary land mobile radio ('lmr') transmitters/receivers (base stations or repeaters); and mobile and portable radios. It sells its lmr products and systems mainly to two broad markets: public safety and other governmental users and commercial users. The customers of the group include public safety agencies and police forces, federal government agencies, foreign governments, the military, cellular service providers, lmr manufacturers and business and corporate users in finance, manufacturing and media/entertainment and other industries. It sells its products in the United States, Europe, Asia and central and Latin America.
