The group's principal activity is to develop and market computer-mapping products in CD-ROM format and on the Internet. The computer mapping technology allows users to interact with the maps in limited ways, allowing them to zoom in closer or farther away from a particular object or section of the map using functions contained on the computer map. The group has produced a style of computer mapping which includes drawings of buildings, features and landscapes on to the computer map of streets and cities. The products are developed in a semi-custom fashion using the specifications of individual customers with whom the group has software development contracts. The group has produced the computer maps for eight major us cities, 4 Canadian cities as well as Munich, Germany.
