Business Information
The group's principal activities are carried out through four segments: merchant energy business, regulated electric, regulated gas and other nonregulated business. Merchant energy business provides power marketing, risk management and nuclear consulting services and develops, owns and operates domestic power projects. Regulated electric business purchases, distributes and sells electricity. Regulated gas business purchases, transports and sells natural gas. Other nonregulated businesses include energy products and services, home products, commercial building systems, residential and small commercial electric and gas retail marketing. On 10-Jun-2004, the group acquired r.e. Ginna nuclear facility.
