The group's activities are carried out through three divisions: broadband and other video products, local area network and wireless and other telecommunications applications. The cable TV and other video products designs, manufactures and markets coaxial cable which is used in the cable television industry. The LAN manufactures twisted pair, coaxial and fiber optic cables to transmit data. The wireless communications develops copper shielded semi-flexible coaxial cable and related connectors and accessories. The group operates in the United States, Europe, Asia/Pacific Rim, Latin America and Canada. On 31-Jan-2004, the group acquired the assets of the connectivity solutions business from avaya inc.
