The group's principal activity is selling, collecting or otherwise reducing to money in an orderly manner the remaining assets of the group. Effective 12-Aug-2002, the group reorganized by emerging from bankruptcy. Prior to bankruptcy proceedings, the group had the following operations. The us leasing and European it leasing segment sold, leased and remarked technology equipment made by manufacturers. It also leased pcs, point of sale, server, enterprise, network, telecommunications and other equipment. The venture segment invested in various stages of companies from seed stage to pre-ipo companies and offered financing products that includes leasing, subordinated debt and secured debt. The corporate asset management group is responsible for the sale of certain assets held by subsidiaries.
